I AM RESPONSIBLE. When anyone, anywhere reaches out for help, I want the hand of A.A. always to be there. And for that: I am responsible.

Grapevine/La viña Committee

The Grapevine/LaViña Committee serves to carry the message of Alcoholics Anonymous through its official magazines: AA Grapevine (English) and La Viña (Spanish). These publications offer personal stories, spiritual insights, and recovery tools written by AA members for AA members. The committee promotes awareness and distribution of these resources, encourages member submissions, and supports the use of Grapevine and La Viña as effective tools in personal recovery, sponsorship, and outreach. By bringing AA's message to life in written form, the committee plays a vital role in supporting unity and service within the Fellowship.

Literature Committee

The Literature Committee is dedicated to supporting recovery by promoting the use and understanding of AA Conference-approved literature. This includes books, pamphlets, and service materials that reflect AA’s experience, strength, and hope. The committee helps ensure that literature is available at meetings, events, and correctional or treatment facilities, and it educates members about the importance of using AA-approved materials in carrying the message. By encouraging participation in literature development and review processes, the committee helps preserve the integrity and unity of the AA message.

Treatment Committee

The Treatment Committee helps carry the AA message to individuals in treatment centers and recovery facilities who may be unable to attend regular AA meetings. Through coordination with local treatment programs, the committee arranges for AA members to bring presentations, literature, and meeting information into these facilities. It also helps bridge the gap between treatment and the wider AA community by connecting individuals with temporary contacts who can accompany them to their first meetings upon discharge. This vital service fosters continuity in recovery and ensures that those leaving treatment know they are not alone.
